Do you understand Spanish, but feel completely out of your depth when it is time to speak?
You need to be able to make mistakes without feeling like you are taking an exam. To laugh, interrupt, lose your train of thought or tell a story that goes on a little too long.
And end up talking about anything, just as you would around the table after a meal. That is La sobremesa: a space to practise, build confidence and take your Spanish further.

Here are the details of La sobremesa. At our introductory meeting, we look at your level and whether there is a group that suits you.

80 €/month per person
- 4 lessons per month.
- Maximum 4 people per group.
- We always hold a preliminary meeting to assess your level.

What level do I need?
La sobremesa is for C1–C2 students who want practice and confidence. Before you join, we meet to get to know your level and how you speak.
How do you choose my group?
At our meeting we talk about your needs, personality and interests. I want you to feel comfortable with the other people in your group; I do not put groups together at random.
What happens in the conversations?
We talk about current affairs, culture, debates, humour and real life, with interesting topics each week. I take part in the conversations and support you with detailed corrections.

Can I ask even if no places are advertised?
Yes. Whenever you are reading this, get in touch. There may be a place available, or the right group for you may not exist yet. We will explore that at our meeting.
